About the Journal
Aims and scope
Advances in Therapy is an international, peer reviewed, rapid-publication (peer review in 2 weeks, published 3–4 weeks from acceptance) journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality clinical (all phases), observational, real-world, and health outcomes research around the discovery, development, and use of therapeutics and interventions (including devices) across all therapeutic areas. Studies relating to diagnostics and diagnosis, pharmacoeconomics, public health, epidemiology, quality of life, and patient care, management, and education are also encouraged.
Advances in Therapy is of interest to a broad audience of pharmaceutical and healthcare professionals and publishes original research and reviews. The journal appeals to a global audience and receives submissions from all over the world.
Moving forward from traditional publishing, Advances in Therapy offers a range of additional features designed to increase visibility and readership. Each paper is accompanied by a bulleted slide summary, giving a time-efficient overview of the content to a wider readership. Articles also have the option to include slide sets, videos, animations
,. All enhanced features are open access and are peer reviewed to the same high standard as the article itself.
Advances in Therapy publishes supplements and special issues (in English or a local language). Material appropriate for supplements/special issues include: sponsored meeting proceedings, roundtable discussions, workshop reports, and collections of articles on the same topic. All articles are subject to peer review, and must adhere to the ICMJE and GPP policies on acknowledgments/disclosures. Proposals for supplements are welcomed, and should be addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Advances in Therapy's rapid publication and personalized service is funded by article processing charges. Current fees are: £420/$660 per typeset page. Please note, all manuscripts are thoroughly peer reviewed and accepted/rejected based solely on the merit of the content.
